East Lindsey District Council approved a factory farm, as local residents held a protest to highlight unacceptable risks to the local community, environment and animal welfare concerns.

Fifty local residents gathered last night to discuss plans to stop an intensive chicken unit between Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. “Tonight showed what we can achieve together," one attendee commented.
