The UK government has clarified in the starkest possible terms that its major land use policy does not support factory farming or the intensification of poultry farming.

The government must amend the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) to halt the expansion of factory farming, according to a letter signed by Communities Against Factory Farming, and Dale Vince.
